About Jinsil

I am really happy to see you being curious to click that link to read about Jinsil and probably me!

Jinsil is an independent project I started in March, 2024. It is a collection of ideas and tools under one umbrella term Jinsil that is a romanisation for Korean word 진실 meaning truth.

While the meaning of Jinsil is truth, the purpose of this project is by no means to have serious philosophical dwelling of exploration of the "ultimate truth" of the universe.

The true reason to choose this name was to have a fancy and compact domain name under which I can host some of my projects, portfolio, and tools for personal use and jinsil.me sounded like a perfect fit for it's compactness while still being a meaningful (true me, maybe?). It was approved by my dear friends out of other options and here we are!

Under ink.jinsil.me, I plan to ink random posts that are linked in my mind in various stages of my life. So most of the content is supposed to be a brain dump of fun, insightful, and actionable ideas without adhering to anything specific genre.

While it's a new blog, to get started, I have copied a few posts from my old blog 1010is10.wordpress.com which I no longer plan to maintain at the old address.

A little about me

I am Dhairya Bhardwaj, born in a small town Nohar in India, moved to London for work in 2023. I have a masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. I am currently working as a software engineer in financial industry.

In my free time, I like to read books, listen to podcast or music, and sometimes programming. My favourite cuisine is no doubt Indian, but I also enjoy Italian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Thai, and Korean food.

I am still discovering myself to know what interests me most, therefore I like to try new things. I have tried Samba drumming with a great bunch of people drumming under the name Sambatalion, I found it to be very relaxing but due to some life situation I couldn't continue it . Currently, I am focused on improving fitness, learning Bachata, and Salsa dancing, learning a bunch of languages- mainly Korean and Spanish, learning to drive, and improving my English language skills.
