Quotes collection Summer 2026

I haven't written a post in a long while, It has been something on my todo list but the life started to feel too rushed in last few years and I didn't really get to connect with this buried down hobby of mine.

I have been reorganising my "scratch pads". I used notion for collecting down different amusing info that I came across or jotted down some ideas that were linked and inked in my neural networks. I am moving away from notion, so I thought of reviewing everything I have written so far, keep the interesting ones, and discard rest of it to avoid clutter. In this post I am sharing the best of what I have drafted or collected over a couple of years.

A few thoughts about religions, god, wars, discrimination:

Following a religion is like being in a large corporate, everything seems sorted, and safer, but you have to follow established practices or custom without having much power to change things. On the other hand being an atheist or agnostic is like working in a startup, things can be chaotic, no clear processes and a lot of questions, but you get to ask a lot of questions, you get to move forward and give your inputs and change things.
I don’t believe in the God created by men, but I do believe in the men created by God
Make your hobby your religion, not vice versa
The fascists would repeat the history. With the wars, oppression, and racism being normalised, and the growing economic crisis, people would become so desperate and humanly selfish that they would stop thinking about humanity as a whole. Rich far rights would mislead people for the love of chaos and gains. They would survive, but who would pay the price? It's never about a religion, country, race, or culture...It's always about power.
"When people get used to preferential treatment, equal treatment seems like discrimination" - Thomas Sowell
Economic instability does not engender realism – it adds value to dreams.

I am not a big cinema person, I know I should watch more movies but I feel now isn't the time for me. Here are just two of the movies quotes that stuck with me:

Maybe love is one thing we are capable of perceiving that transcends the dimensions of time and space - Dr. Amelia Brand (Interstellar)
How do you even being to know how to talk to a woman let alone getting married to one - Chen Honghui (Disney Mulan 2020)

And the following ones feels quite heavy, but with a rapid developments in the world of AI, the existential questions weren't something that anyone could simply escape. I was surprised I could write something this deep, my brain hurts to read it now that AI has made me a little dumb.

Soul existence is like P=NP problem. If soul doesn’t exist. I don’t think there is any difference between machine and human and machine can technically surpass human in everything.
Information, meme has their own means to survive. If information wants to survive it might choose to favour robots. Why does information want to survive, are there any hidden elements of universe that gives it a survival instinct. Or soul is that hidden element that gives us survival instinct and can we say that machine can have souls.
As the competency increases with the new AI developments, what would matter for most people would be the soft skills. The ability to have a self control. Discipline and Curiosity.

And a few more in line with those above:

Maybe we all secretly craved the simplicity of being 'boring,' yet we rode the thrilling waves of life because it was the essence of the era, and existence itself
We don’t see the things as they are we see the things as we are
Rationality is irrational
Everyone is working to their best capacity and state, as a leader, instead of trying to extract the most out of your co-worker, you need to understand how to bring them to their best state, that would eventually improve their capacity!
